Terms

Booking terms

For Booking Boat & Bed the customer must follow the following process:  


  1. Select the boat or service you want to reserve. 
  2. Select the date and time when you want to make the reservation. Keep in mind that a charter reservation must be a minimum of one hour long, and that after the return of the boat maintenance will be carried out for approximately half an hour. 
  3. Once you select the reservation, check that the reservation details are correct. 
  4. In case of all the correct data, the User will go to the virtual payment platform. Until the payment process is completed, the reservation will not be formalized.
  5. After making the payment, you will receive a confirmation email.             

Payment Methods

 The accepted forms of payment will be as follows:  Visa credit or debit card, Master Card credit card, and cards the payment provider Stripe allowes. Since the card details will be entered on a page belonging to Bankia, our online payment provider, Boat & Bed will not store any card data.    

Cancellations

In case of cancellation of your reservation, it is possible to apply a penalty when making the refund of the amount paid. Possible penalties would be carried out as follows:  


Yacht Trips

  • Cancellation more than 72 hours in advance: 100% refund of the amount 
  • Cancellation with between 72 and 48 hours: refund of 70% of the amount 
  • Cancellation with between 48 and 24 hours: refund of 50% of the amount 
  • Cancellation less than 24 hours in advance: refund of 0% of the amount 


Accommodation on a Yacht

  • Cancellations are subject to the cancellation policy of the reservation system (Airbnb or Booking.com).


Reservations for Villas & event Venues

  • The cancellation policy is due the service providers cancellation policy. You can find cancellation policy on the service providers terms.

Feedback and complaints

We appreciate your feedback, and we'll be happy to assist you.


Notice of written complaint is publicity displayed at the reception office of Boat & Bed, Airbnb, or the responsible service provider. Complaints are accepted only in writing by email: 


  • A written complaint is sent to the official e-mail address: info@boatnbed.es or the service provider's email. 
  • A written complaint can be filled out at the reception office upon check-in. 
  • A  written complaint can be filled out at the reception office upon check-out. 
  • Boat & Bed is obliged to respond to the complaint within 14 days of receipt and keep the documentation for one (1) year.
  • Complaints made after using the service will not be considered.

Maximum capacity varies between 9 – 12 persons. You can find information about the maximum capacity of the Yacht Trip information page.


Due to legal and safety reasons, the maximum number of passengers shall not be exceeded under any circumstances.


If you're organizing an event on a yacht in the harbour, then the maximum capacity can be more.


All vessels come with life jackets, emergency and first aid kits. If you have known allergies or medical requirements, please bring spare medication in the event of an emergency.


You may choose any starting time if the yacht is not booked already.


Please be in the harbour 15 minutes before departure.


You can bring your own alcohol and food without any problem.


All yachts include a sound system in which you can connect your cell phone through Bluetooth and listen to your favorite music.


Children of any age are allowed on board and are counted as a passenger.


VAT 21% is included in the price.


In order to confirm a reservation, we will require a 50% deposit with the remaining 50% payable before charter.


100% payment will be required to confirm accommodation on a yacht.

Due to weather conditions: Complete refund. 


Due to technical problems: For example, fail in the engine of the ship. We will look for an alternative yacht similar or better. In the case of being unable to do so, we will provide a full refund.


Due to the client's decision: As below.

No animals ( pets ) allowed on board.


Smoking is forbidden within the inside of the ship, apart from the designated areas when the skipper gives his express consent.


It is not often that people get dizzy when sailing. However, if it's your first time, we recommend that you take medication to prevent dizziness before boarding. 


Bring comfortable shoes and clothing. 


Bring your own towel and bathing suit if needed. We also rent towels on board by 5€/pcs.


Yes, there are a handful of Beach Clubs that offer a Yacht pick-up service.  These include Heaven Beach, Nikki Beach, Finca Cortesin Beach Club, and also Trocadero in Sotogrande.  You would need to have at least a 6-hour charter to allow enough time to get on and off the boat and back to the harbor.


We are lucky enough to enjoy regular visits from families of dolphins in the area.  Our skipper is often informed as to their whereabouts and will look to find them if possible on your charter!


Frequently Asked Questions - Accommodation on a Yacht

You can see the maximum capacity on the yacht booking site. Usually, the capacity is 4, 6, or 8 guests.


Check-in: 16:00 – 00:00

Check-out: depending on the yacht, 09:00 – 11:00 


Every accommodation includes a minimum 2-hour charter (yacht trip) either on your check-in or check-out time.
If you decide to take the charter on check-in time, the starting time will be scheduled from 16-18 pm.
If you decide to take charter on check-out time, starting time will be scheduled from 9-11:00 am.


We provide a light breakfast onboard.


No animals ( pets ) are allowed on board.


There's no free WIFI available. Puerto Banús harbor provides WIFI for an extra fee.


Bookings are handled through the booking site Airbnb. You can find booking terms on the Airbnb Terms of Service.


Cancellations will be handled according to the Airbnb Cancellation Policy. 


All vessels follow International Safety Regulations. Vessels come with life jackets, emergency, and first aid kits, fire blankets,s and foam extinguishers.


There's one of our crew members, who stay overnight on the yacht near to the rented one. In case of assistance or emergency, our crew will be at your service.


Children of any age are allowed on board and are counted as a guest.


There's no free parking available. You can find parking possibilities for extra fees in Puerto Banús. 


Vessels are equipped with electricity and air conditioning.


Vessels are equipped with running water.


No extra beds are available for the vessels.


Before the vessel is handed over, the Client is obliged to pay the security deposit as stipulated in the charter agreement (this amount corresponds to the franchise deduction defined by the insurance policy). The deposit can be paid in cash or with a credit card. In case of damage on the vessel equal to the deductible franchise amount, the deposit the Client left will be used to cover the damage.
Security deposit amount is given on the renting terms. 


Vessel insurance covers all maritime risks and is inclusive of obligatory insurance towards third persons. Any damage that happened during the usage of the vessel by the Client and that wasn’t immediately reported to the Vendor or the insurance company, will not be accepted under the insurance policy. In such cases, the Client bears the entire responsibility for all such damages. Personal property items of the skipper or crew members are not insured, so we propose to execute a separate insurance policy for valuable items prior to the charter term of the vessel.
